## What rod.tech does

- Inventories the AI tools and models a company uses, including ones nobody reported (shadow AI), and keeps an up-to-date AI system register.
- Classifies AI systems under the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689), maps ISO/IEC 42001 and GDPR requirements and prepares compliance documentation.
- Protects data: masks personal and sensitive data before a prompt reaches a model, monitors AI use and responds to incidents.
- Lowers AI model bills by comparing vendor prices and routing queries to the best price/quality.
- Produces evidence: compliance reports for the board, clients, security questionnaires and public tenders.

## Modules

- **Compliance** (platform core): AI system register; AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001 and GDPR compliance; AI vendor assessment; documents ready for clients and tenders.
- **Security** (foundation): managed protection from scan → audit → deployment → monitoring → incident response; access control stays with the client (orchestrator with hardware keys).
- **Gov AI Private AI**: AI models running in the client's own infrastructure; data does not leave the company.
- **Performance**: AI model cost optimisation across vendors, with measured savings.

## AI agents

Register Agent, Compliance Agent, Security Agent, Cost Agent and Reporting Agent. They work in the team's messenger and email, act on their own and ask for human approval before any irreversible change.
